De mani\u00e8re g\u00e9n\u00e9rale, un total de 2005 fondations priv\u00e9es (\u00e0 but philanthropique ou non) et 658 fondations d\u2019utilit\u00e9 publique ont \u00e9t\u00e9 recens\u00e9es sur le territoire belge \u00e0 la fin de l\u2019ann\u00e9e 2022. Ce faisant, parmi ces 2663 fondations que compte le secteur, 1804 poursuivent un objectif philanthropique (67,7%).
